Frequently Asked Questions: Garage Door & Opener Brands
Choosing a brand is about more than just a logo—it’s about long-term reliability, warranty support, and parts availability. Here are the answers to the most common questions regarding the brands we carry and service.
Garage Door Brands
While we service all makes and models, we strongly recommend Haas Door. We’ve found that Haas offers some of the best paint finishes and insulation values in the industry. Their 700 Series, for instance, provides a high R-value of 16.18, making it a top performer for Indiana winters.
Yes. Haas Door is an American-based manufacturer. Choosing domestic brands typically means faster lead times for custom orders and easier access to replacement sections if your door is ever damaged.
Absolutely. Our technicians have over 45 years of experience and are trained to repair all makes and models, including major brands like Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, and C.H.I. Overhead Doors. If parts are still manufactured for your brand, we can fix it.
Opener & Smart Technology Brands
For homeowners with bedrooms located above or next to the garage, we recommend LiftMaster belt-drive openers. They are significantly quieter than traditional chain-drive models and are built with commercial-grade components for residential use.
We primarily feature MyQ Technology. This is the industry standard for smart garage control, allowing you to open, close, and monitor your door from a smartphone app. It is compatible with most modern LiftMaster and Chamberlain units.
Most of the brands we install are compatible with HomeLink and Car2U systems found in modern vehicles. If you have an older vehicle or a specific specialized system, let us know during your estimate so we can ensure seamless integration
Warranties & Support
Yes. We honor all factory warranties on the products we sell and install. Most premium brands, like Haas, offer substantial warranties on their finishes (some up to 35 years) and hardware. We provide all the necessary paperwork upon installation so your investment is protected.
In most cases, yes. We carry a wide variety of remotes and wireless keypads for various brands. However, if your opener was manufactured before 1980, it may use an analog system that is no longer supported for safety reasons, in which case we would recommend a modern upgrade.
Give us a call! We’re happy to look up your specific model and give you an honest assessment of its parts availability.
